Terms of Service.

The membership agreement — what we deliver, what we ask, and how it works.
1. Who we are; this agreement
These Terms are a contract between Start Young CEO Inc., a Delaware corporation, 111 NE 1st St, 8th Floor, Suite #89118, Miami, FL 33132, USA ("SYC", "we") and you, the parent or legal guardian who purchases a membership. By enrolling, you accept these Terms for yourself and on behalf of your child, together with the Privacy Policy and the Parental Consent form.
2. What the words mean
Membership — an annual SYC Campus Membership (Start, Build, or Lead) for one child. Campus — the student workspace (email, files, boards, showcase page). Cohort — the group your child moves through the year with. Build Sprint — the monthly live class. Demo Day — the quarterly presentation event. CEO Weekend — the kickoff event included with Build and Lead; it is not sold separately and has no standalone price.
3. Eligibility and accounts
The program is designed for children aged 9–15. The account holder must be at least 18 and the child's parent or legal guardian. One membership covers one child. Keep your login credentials private; you are responsible for activity on your account. Children use the Campus under your consent and supervision.
4. What we deliver
Each tier includes what is listed on the Pricing page on the day you enroll. Live session schedules are set per cohort; if we must move a session, we will tell you and provide a replacement session. We may improve or adjust features, but we will not materially reduce what your tier includes during a paid year. Lead is limited to fifteen seats so the published coaching allocation is protected; beyond that, a waitlist opens.
5. Price, payment, renewal
Prices are in US dollars, the same worldwide, and processed by Stripe. Memberships run for one year and renew automatically for a further year at the then-current list price (memberships do not renew at the rate you joined at). We email you a reminder before each renewal, and you can switch renewal off at any time before the renewal date, with effect from the end of the paid year. If a payment fails we will retry and notify you; access may pause until it is resolved. Any applicable taxes are shown at checkout.
6. Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel future renewal at any time (see §5). Fees for the current membership year are non-refundable, except: (a) where a mandatory consumer right in your country — such as a statutory cooling-off period — applies, in which case we honour it in full; and (b) any exception SYC chooses to make in its sole discretion, case by case. Nothing in these Terms limits rights that the law does not allow us to limit.
7. Live sessions, events, recordings
Live classes and events run online, or on partner premises for partner cohorts. SYC does not record live sessions. We ask everyone to be respectful; we may remove a disruptive participant from a session and will inform the parent.
8. Acceptable use of the Campus
The Campus is a kid-safe workspace. No bullying, hate, harassment, or sexual content; no attempts to move contact with members off-platform; no misuse of accounts; no scraping, probing, or attacking the service. We may moderate content and suspend access to protect children — and we will always tell you, the parent, when we act on your child's account.
9. AI features
My AI Co-Founder offers structured, guided missions only — there is no open chatbot, and there will not be one. Outputs are learning aids, not professional advice; a parent or mentor should stay in the loop. Sessions are logged and recapped to you as described in the Privacy Policy and the Family AI Charter. We may improve mission design and change AI providers; the safeguards in the Charter remain in force regardless of provider.
10. Your child's work; our materials
Your family owns what your child creates — the venture name, the pitch, the work product. You grant SYC a limited licence to host that work on the Campus and show it within your child's cohort so the program can function — and, only if you opt in on the Parental Consent form, to feature it publicly. Course materials, the LIQ framework, and the SYC brand belong to SYC; we licence them to you for your family's personal, non-commercial use during the membership.
11. Partner cohorts
If you enrolled through a school, activity centre, or company code, your price and cohort follow that group's arrangement with us. Partners host or refer the program; they are not SYC's agents and cannot vary these Terms.
12. Honest expectations
SYC is an education program. We promise the structure — a cohort, a mentor, a cadence, a finish line, and a parent's view — and we work hard on outcomes. We do not guarantee business results, revenue, or any particular achievement for your child. The service is provided with reasonable skill and care.
13. Liability
Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law — including for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. Otherwise, SYC's total liability under these Terms is capped at the fees you paid in the twelve months before the claim, and we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
14. Suspension and ending a membership
We may suspend or end a membership for serious or repeated breach of these Terms — especially conduct that puts other children at risk — with notice and, where fair, a chance to put it right. You may stop renewal at any time (§§5–6). Sections that by their nature continue (ownership, liability, disputes) survive.
15. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms. Material changes take effect at your next renewal, and we will email you in advance. If you do not accept a material change, do not renew.
16. Governing law and disputes
[PLACEHOLDER — do not publish to the real domain until this is filled: governing law and venue are still being finalized. Interim text for the preview build only:] These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to Start Young CEO Inc. (Delaware, USA), except where the law of your country of residence gives you mandatory rights or a local forum, which remain yours. We would rather fix problems than fight about them: write to [email protected] first and give us 30 days to respond before starting any formal step.
